Finally i finished this 1/72 small diorama. took me 2 month. figures are from ARMORY resin Russian truck driver, but i cut one of figure's head put on preiser US ground worker's body, because original figure's body is too small, maybe armory didn't pay attention to this detail.

Diorama base i use one door number plate bought from home depot $12 ,very nice shape, i paint with walnut color. ground works are very simple. did not do too much on it.

Share those pictures for everyone, hope you like it, will bring this to join APR 14 Canadian Guelph wellington county model show.

Hi Paul,

Your dio is stunning and very pleasent to the eye. There is just so much to see that you have to take your time and examine carefully. Models like these should be used as examples to make people understand that Braille dont always mean easier and less detailed models.

I have one comment about the fact that I'd like to see the tires of the carrier taking the weight of the BMP and appear a bit suppressed on the road. It's a detail that is almost always forgotten and my no means retracts anything from your excellent work.

Very well done, P.A.

Thanks Alexander.

This MAZ 537 is a resin kit from ARMADA hobby. the trailer's wheels are 4 rows, 3*4=12 wheels total, because it is a resin kit, so difficult to adjust balance of those wheel,(you have to drill the centre whole by yourselves). I tried to make it look like pressure on it but i failed.

anyway , it is a small regret of this works. thanks again for your comments.

@njtp80 – Paul,

That’s a magnificent piece of modeling! This will surely keep those flashlight carrying geek judges at the show entertained and glued (pun intended) to your work for the duration of the contest. They’ll even notice that the driver’s seat in the BMP is painted in the wrong color – NOT!

There’s so much detail cramped into the models that it looks like a larger scale build. Thanks for posting and sharing your work here, hoping to see more.

Nice work paul! Did I see this one at the AMPS International Convention this year? I believe there was one there (among the 600+ models)! Saving my allowance(s) for that kit!!! And Balaton's M1070/M1000 too!

How did you produce that excellent ‘Soviet Green’?

I hope to produce a similar green on my Russian Armored Train and was wondering how you created this perfect ‘Soviet Green’???

I totally love it as I am about to embark on a similar build, but in 1/35th.

The only thing I would have done different with this was to choose the view from the grassy side as the front, as I believe it is really hidden behind the model... but hey, it still looks great!
