In order to make my next diorama as interested as possible. And to give my horses and carriages a nice place i wanted to build something different from scratch.
So here are the first results :
hope you like it
There has to add some more at this stage but when i took the pictures i ran out of wood

Wow Eric,
This looks to be a big diorama once you put the bridge into the base etc.
Nice start!

hello Jim,
You're right the bride came out bigger then i expected but i'm pleased with the result so far.
There has the a lot of vehicles crossing it in this diorama.
( i will keep the pictures for reference to write the review .)

Well it is not that much !!!
i think i spend about 100 euro's.
And it is not Balsa but Pine.
It is cheaper and has the same quality as the more expensiver Balsa.

Where's part 5??
Eric - Please note my renaming these and moving them here to the Diorama talk forum. As to your former title I think something was getting lost in the translation....that is unless "This is what keeps me off the street" means if you didn't make models you might be homeless??
Keep up the great work!!
Cheers,
Jim

Wow Eric, great work, that is going to be a pretty big diorama. Can't wait to see the finished work, you'll just get it all built and a couple of P-47's will fly over and level it. Hate when that happens.

Ron,
Well it is set to be blown up but not by any plane but by the German troops it self.
As you can see at the pictures it is a l ot of work to create such a structure and it it far from ready yet. The building proces is almost compleet i have to stretch the bridge a few centimetres at both sides and it has to be painted. ( of course )
What the building proces about the vehicles and the figures concerns, the work on that is coming along at a low phase....
( Summertime )
But when ever i have the the time i crawl behind my desk and continue....
greetings
Eric

I'm curious to know: Is this based on an actual bridge, scale plans, or did you design it yourself? It looks great.

Its works like this that keeps me ticking. Im really looking forward to seeing this whole concept. I can get as much fun building dios as the actual model.

Hollowpoint,
. I have some blurry pictures of this bridge but the scale conversion i had to do that myself.
But a neighbour of mine is carpenter so he gave me some advises concerning the construction...
