Thanks for the detailed review.
You're welcome Alan. I hope that it was helpful.
I am thinking about going back and cleaning up the figures and doing a basic paint job on them so that I can show the decals that come with the set in place. Anybody want to see that or think that would be a good idea?? My figure painting is terrible so that is why it would be just a basic paint job.
Thank you,
Randy

Slight problem - the figure supposed to be Brian Horrocks is not actually him - in the original photo the figure can be seen to be wearing "War Correspondent" titles.......

I have to agree with Simon, no way is that Lt Gen Horrocks! Whilst I've seen some grave aberrations in dress amongst senior officers in the British Army in my time (!), the figure shown appears to be wearing a US jacket over what might be British Battledress. General Horrocks, as Corps Commander, usually appears to be correctly dressed as for a sneior officer with Service Dress cap, battledress, gorget patches (ie the "red tabs" on his uniform collar) and on occasions sporting a leather jerkin, the design of which hails from the First World War. That said, how nice to see a non-warfighting set of figures, which whilst a little bit specialised, should not necessarily limit their use, albeit in a rather exclusive setting.
A brave set from this new firm, and we haven't, as far as I can recall, seen such senior figures since the ancient Tamiya Famous Generals set; I wonder who will be brave enough to manufacture a figure of Hitler? possibly not seen in 1:35 since the venerable 1:35 "Tilt" G4 Mercedes kit.
A good effort from this firm; any discrepancies as described above, can, I am sure, be easily remedied with a little Milliput. Good luck to them!
