I've only seen the kit for the Gen2 Hohenstaufen Division in a few places online, but nowhere else. Anyone know why it seems so rare? It looks like a great kit, but I can't seem to find it for sale.

Not sure, amigo. I found some on Ebay just now, wow, $18.99 plus SH. Kinda pricy. Not sure why the scarcity. You are right, no one else seems to stock these guys.

I'm beginning to consider a Normandy diorama (Praise my originality later) & I'm starting to look at different figure kits to use. There's not many that could work when I think of it, all of Dragons Normandy kits are outdated and under detailed. It's about time they revamped those kits...
Thanks for the help

They may be scarce because they are great kits! The sculpting on the SS smocks is excellent and the faces and hands are really good for a plastic kit. Plus the inclusion of Gen2 equipment adds to the value. It is a good buy.

I'm gonna play detective and try to find the best deal for that kit... I know Gen2 are expensive, I've got a few of them. But $25 for one kit is too much

These are arguably among the best figures ever produced by Dragon. They may be out of production (a very annoying habit of Dragon), but if you have a good LHS, they could probably order it for you.
