Hey Guys,

some of my books state that M3 Halftracks were not widely used during the Korean War. Most Halftracks where M15 A1, M15
"Special" and M16 MGMC. The books say also that M3`s saw service with the AAA bataillons as command vehicles. So what is the difference between an M3 Infantry Carrier and an M3 Command version?

Again TIA

Hi Hans-Hermann

I guess the main difference is the number of radio sets . Here's Verlinden's rendition of a command half-track :

Bingo! Exactly what I look for. Hopefully this set could be used with with the DML kit Almost forgot that Verlinden is still in the game.
I wonder which Halftrack version is in the attached video.

Best I could determine from the short sequence with the Halftrack, it's an M3A1.

Hey guys, I think you'll find some fundamental differences between the M3 halftracks that Tamiya and DML make. I have multiple of both brands, most things are NOT interchangeable.
