Hello!

Just finished a small vignette of a German SS soldier in 1/35 scale.

Need comments and insights...^_^

The pictures are in my gallery...(*named "German SS 01..02..03...)

Thank you in advance!

I envy you! I can't detail the figs the way you do. It's very impresive although a small dio.

Very nice!!! But I Think the Y Strap is messed up. Near the Start of the first button it gets alot thinner and hooks onto the Belt But Everything else is great!

Not bad, but you're guy is pointing an empty gun...there's no magazine in his Schmeiser and it doesn't look like he's reloading or planning to. Not a good tactical position. Also, given he's smoking a pipe, a realtively relaxed behavior, he'd be more convincing if his gun were pointed downward.

Finally you have finished your SS figures. Damn it hurts me that I could not show everyone my own figs because I don't have a camera.

Thanksfor the comments, guys!

About the strap, I guess it looks sorry...T_T

I never really had an idea on how it exactly looks like... The figure never had it, and I thought it was too plain....So I scoured the net for some pictures....Luckily, I saw this "suspender-like" belt, and decided to add it on the fig.... The belt and sling were made from electrical tape, and I was so excited about the idea that I never checked if the belt straps were even...Silly me... #:-)

I wasn't sure about the white coat too...It was supposed to be a brown colored winter coat, but I screwed up the painting...T_T....After stripping, I primed it again with white, and I was satisfied....A bit overdone on the wash, though....

Thank you again for your comments.....^____^ /

Same here...I don not have my own camera...I just bring my works over to Shonen_Red's place to have pictures taken...It's realy a drag, having to commute bringing your work, and it is horror when you experience rough bumpy rides while "back-riding" in tricycles... (you're lucky if your work doesn't get damaged during transport...)
