Finally finished this...it's been an on again/off again project but is the first thing I've posted on this site, so enjoy--and comments welcome!

It depicts heavy US ground forces, with some Glidermen in town, rounding up cut-off, motely German forces, including a Volksturm guy and a policeman.

Nice diorama you got there, like the idea behind it. Would like to see more pictures.

Now I'm motivated to bulk up in my American figures... Looks great though, what kind of tank is it? A Pershing? I'm not very good with late war US armor

Nice work, Tim. Details galore. Nice brick bits laying about, great painting on figures and tank and the weathering on tank, helmets and ground is top notch. I like the storyline and the fearful look on the Germans. One of those GIs could have been my Dad.

Good job. I've just built those same Dragon figures. I like your theme.

Hi!

Yes, it's a Pershing--the old Dragon/DML I had in the stash for years and I finally found a use for it! Thought it would help with a "late war" look and was something other than a Sherman, which was what I was going to use originally.

Cheers,

Tim W.

Tim, Very nice scene you have here. A lot of thought went into this, and it shows. Great job and idea.
