Okay you modern gurus...
I'm looking to create a US tanker (M1A1) from OIF in 120mm (1/16th) and I'm looking for some figures on the market to convert. Is there a figgie or two out there with the correct body armor, coveralls, helmet, etc. to work with? I think Verlinden did a tanker from Desert Storm and I'm thinking the helmet may still work... but I think the body armor is off. So many of the modern figures I've found are infantry and have all kinds of web gear and etc. I was considering Alpine's Modern Marine Sniper (1/16) as a start... Can anyone tell me if the body armor or etc., would be acceptable for a tank crew member? Maybe even the coveralls?
