Something interesting from Tamiya, almost a diorama in a box. With figures and vehicle, all you need to do is add a base and maybe a building.

Since I already have this vehicle, I am sorry to see that the figures are not seperate. While Tamiya fgures are not the quality of other styrene companies, with a little work, these might just be up to snuff; the figures that come with the car are not bad.

Looks like 4 of the figures , the General , his male & female aides and the soldier holding the door are in the ICM set # 35611 . Not too sure what set the other three figures are from .

Second that! The 3 figures in the bachground are the Tamiya ones that were sold with this kit from the beginning.
The other 4 are the ICM ones.
So what those guys at Tamiya trying to achieve? Making us buy another copy of this old but good kit?
Is there a single military modeller on this planet who doesn't have this on in his stash?
Why not launching some new kits rather than repack the same old ones again and again?

Hi Matthew
Well don't feel disapointed, as Jim pointed out, the figures are a set recently released from ICM which they in turn had released with the High Command Mercedes they had out a while ago.
The other figures shown you will know are what comes with the Tamiya kit anyway.
As another alternative Masterbox have a couple of sets coming out that look promising.

The ICM set does look nice though.

The MB kits look very promising indeed! Wonderful times for military modellers

We need a set of 'Resistance Ambush Group' figures to complement it.
