Hi,

I want to show the newest model of my collection and hence the first model wich I present in this forum at all. It's an SPw-40P2 which was the designation of the BRDM-2 in the Nationals Peoples Army. I used the Revellkit which is actually the dragon kit. But with one important difference the Revell kit does not have any problems with decreassing quality of the tires. I also used Eduard Parts.I added also a few other things like the antenna or the towing cable and an additional periscope beneath the ir-light. When the build was almost completed I ruined it a bit with the decals wich were definetly too old. My attempts save the decals made it even worser. So I lost interest, but now when trumpeters brdm is in sight i thaught I have to complet it, bought new decals and voila. Any comments are welcome.

Next to an sample I build many years ago ( The first model of armored vehicle I ever buildt).

Hi Jochen!

I really like your model and what you did with this old dog of a kit! The NVA appeal of your model really looks realistic. I heard that the former NVA really cared about their hardware and kept them clean when possible.

Thanks for sharing,

Best regards,
Andreas

Very Nice. The BRDM-2 is my favourite vehicle. I've only been able to get one (Dragon). Can't wait for the Trumpeter kit to be released.
Again, excellent job!
