Antenna...

If the tank doesn't have an antenna(aerial) attached, what is still part of the tank? I'm asking in regards to the antenna base piece that Tamiya provides. Should I leave that as is? Remove some of it?

guess it can be removed, but not the base.

guess Maur,Jacques or some other modeller will hold the truth, also intrested on the "right" answer

It depends of what situation you want to depict. The Tamiya base is good for a tank in the parking lot. Instead of removing the aerial and its base, crews often only remove the aerial lengths.

...yes, as Olivier has rightly said, when the tank is parked only the aerial part is removed.

Actually I'm just doing some touch up work on my Northern Alliance T55 before it goes to AMPS National show. No new T55's for me yet. I started our AMPS club project bronco chaffee last night.
