I am building the Academy M113A3 kit, which I think has the same lights as their other kits and the Tamiya M113s. Does anybody know which MV lenses I will need for the lights?

I guess you've got two options :

L116 (2.95mm) + L118 (2.95mm Black IR)

L128 (3.25mm) + L132 (3.25mm Black IR)

Thanks Frenchy. The size difference does not matter between the choices? It appears that my source only has L128 and L132 available.

I browsed the net couple of months ago over the same question and found out most people are suggesting L116 for M113 models. I got the set from SprueBrothers and the lenses fit really well...

IMHO, these should fit the bill as well. A 0.3mm difference should be hardly noticeable (just drill out a bigger hole in the plastic part )

The L116 size is pretty much the de facto size for US headlights.

I would agree....L116 is the MV lens size for pretty much all the tracked vehicles of the same period as the M113.
