Well here are some progress photos. Not alot of forward momentum but its moving.
This kit is proving to be a bunch of fiddly little parts that could have been left off, which I did cause if I cant see them on the sprue no ones gonna even miss them. also the use of PE for no good reason seem to really have me scratch my head like the hood grill which is impossible to bend the front without removing it. That could have been done nicely in plastic anyway I hope my fustrated ramblings dont diwade anyone from buying this kit Its still a really cool subject and this kit is much better than having to put together a resin type atleast in my humble opinion
Oh and the cabin top and tires are just on for the photos

Off to a great start Wayne, I hope you do get it finished for the Valley Forge show and you win gold! About the wheels…you say there not bad and will work, how is the overall fit, anything like to Bronco HUMVEE.

Hey Joe
I think the wheels/tires are tight and good to go
There are no gaps at all. The tires have sprue on the inside so when you clean them up you have to be careful not to gouge up the edge but that was fairly simple

The wheels are correct, but the tires thread is not totally right
Other thing, the Blast update kit contain is here in my Buffalo thread :
https://armorama.kitmaker.net/forums/188403&ord=&page=3
Space between each row of cranks is too wide. Milo says that he think making a replacement set

Yeh
I think they will still work out ok
If you look at anything too close you can always find something not 100% correct
I always try my hardest to reach 95% in life cause if you reach 100% it is only in your own mind, No matter how corect we think we are someone will always tell us different
I'm good with 95%

Wayne,
I agree with you on the hood grill piece. I mangled up mine pretty bad trying to get it just right. After about an hour I gave up on it and ordered the update set from Blast Models (along with some other stuff). It's a great kit though, i'm really enjoying it and i'm curious to see more of yours.

Looking good....
Are you going to put it in a dio? The boom really needs to to be shown in working position for best effect.

This is my next "big purchase" hopefully in the next few weeks!
Until then I will be following your build (which looks great so far) for inspiration and as a reminder.
About how long is the chassis? I want to start to make room for it on the shelf. It's the one modern build I gotta have.
Thanks for sharing it Pascal !
