Found this in recent photos from N. Korean military parade
from a glance it look like the pokpung-ho, however from older picture
the driver is located off center toward to left side, but from the parade picture the driver is located at the center, like the soviet T-72 and T-90
also the front ERA block layout is much different, as well as the turret armor layout

These are two different tanks. Driver location, as you mentioned, is different. Also look at the armour on the front of the turret. It looks like it might be applique.. but on either side of the gun on the second photo there's armour with a clear line of convergence, where the lower deflection angle meets the upper. The tanks in the first picture just have the old M&M on a stick turret, no angles there.

The tank in question is a Chunma-ho IV, a North Korean copy of the T-62. I'm currently building an Iranian one right now. Their is currently five types built by North korea using the lower hull for a T-62 mod 62 with a turret from a mod 72. The type IV has the fuel tanks built up just like a T-64/72/80/90 would have and some new composite armour package.

Here this link might help some as there is a big debate over exact type of North Korean T-62. There appears to be afew with center line driver postions also.
