wow, you guys know a lot about this subject.

So just to be sure i can build an intial tiger from 502 with the next features:
-assymetrical turret
-two pistol ports
-optional home made turret box
-tank number 100, 111 or 112
-no exhaust covers
-no air filters
-and some other minor details

Correct?

do you find the time difference between countries annoying? I do, because i can't communicate with you guys in USA and Canada on ( for me) a normal time.

Wouter

Hi AP ... CORRECT .......... However, as far as Tigers #111 & #112 definitely no turret boxes at all before Dec. 1942. And Kompanie Command Tiger #100 's side box was only a temporary thing. Exactly when it was removed, I have no idea. I can't find any refernce on that.

Oh yea .... your absolutely right. It was captured by the Russkies..... THANKS !
Hey I'm sure you'll take to the Zimmerit, like riding a bike again ( LOL ) At least you have the experience with it. I'm still contemplating when to make my first attempt, and on which tank. Oh well, there's a first time for everything.

Hi Ralph I'm sure you'll do fine once you get down and try it...Ain't we chickens??But the sturmtiger is pretty well just flat surfaces so I couldn't see a reason to buy the Attak resin for this one ...I might chicken out for the mid or late tiger, but with the new turrets from Tiger Model Designs I think I might buy one and give that zimmerit another home made try..
Try it you'll like it!!

He Guys,

Are you interested about an article from panzernet about the initial tiger from 502. I translated it from Spanish into English, although it's a bad one. It's about 750 kb in size in word 2000. So if you want it let me now and i can send it to you.

Greetings from cold and rainy Netherlands
