Hi,
I'm painting several figures depicting US soldiers in Vietnam (1968) using Vallejo Model Color.
I have primed the figures using Vallejo Grey Primer from a can & they are now ready for painting!
Can anybody help me with the "secret formula" of colours to use for the base coat, highlights & shadows for the jungle fatigues, please?
Thankyou for your help.

Joe.

Hi Joe,

have a llok at this thread here:
US Uniforms Vietnam

These are the Colors he uses:

Uniform - Humbrol 86, Shadow 116 + 33, Highlight 86 + 72. (Enamels)
Body Armour - Vallejo 887, Shadow 887 + 862, Highlight 887 + 886. (Acrylics)
Webbing - Various khaki and green colours, mainly 924, 988, 830 etc. (Acrylics)
Camo Helmet Cover - Humbrol 86, 159, + 110. (Enamels)

I use this set from Lifecolor too and it works perfect for me: LCS11 U.S. Olive Drab
Lifecolor for Vietnam Uniforms

Hope this helps

Stefan
