My recent project made only for pure fun. I know, that there are some problems with the dimensions. But I didn't pay attention to them. I just wanted to see how is it like to paint a camouflage like this. Any questions?

In general the fit is almost like in Dragons model - very nice. The only problems which I had were in the area of the exaust (over the 5th road wheel) and under the turret. On the pictures above you will se some white signs of putty.
Next time I will do 2 other veihicles like this:
- 8x8 wheeled transporter
- amphibian in "navy" version of the digital camo
All from HobbyBoss

Looks nice and well done...but it looks a little darker than the actual camouflage, according to the pics on the net.

I did it exactly like dylan did it. Here is one foto showing it:

I agree. But as I wrote, I was for pure fun. Next model I'll try to paint much better

You left off as many of the external details as possible before painting? I'm in the planning process on a diorama that's going to incorporate 1/35 models from several sources -- a pair of flatcars spotted on a siding offloading mecha (Gasaraki/Border Break size) with a tank on overwatch while the mecha pilots get things sorted out, and I want to do both the tank and the mecha in digicam. However, in the 'how-to' guides I've found, whether for soft-edge or hard-edge camo, almost all of them have the models built up with all the external gear -- shovels, jacks, tow chains, etc. -- before painting, and I'm unconvinced that I'm going to be able to get good masking trying to wrap tape around external equipment.
