Brother Marko,
Sure do appreciate the step-by-step explanation. I will try that once I'm at that stage. Thanks.

Marko,
Great build, Can you explain the process used to make the tinted resin windshields? I see you used clear card at one point, is this attached or just used and removed later? How much "tint" did you use?
Thanks DJ

Hi there,
thanks, after you mix two components of resin, just add a small drop of the enamel paint or india ink (I used india ink). I mixed about 1 dcl (0.1 liter) of resin. Just start with the extremely small drop of the paint (especially if you use india ink). Rather add more later that to exaggerate. Stir it.
As for the clear card/styrene, I removed it later. But it is also possible to keep it. I had to remove it because of a small accident. If you remove it, there will be a chance that everything will be ok, and no sanding or polishing on resin will be required. If so, these result will be best. If you will need to sand it or polish it, than there will be in fact no difference weather to remove plastic card or no.
One thing, because I had to sand resin a bit, I got a thinner frame, so i had to frame it with styrene as you can see on one of the pictures, which I can recommend in any case in fact because you get that edge as on the real one.
Cheers

I agree. Great build. The interior of the lights is just the kind of detailing most overlook, much to their shagrin.

Have you done the antennas by your self or have you bought them? If so from where? The blast crow 2 looks very good! Looking forward to see the final result!

Hey i made an account and wanted to say your build looks amazing. I served in the Marine Corps in this vehicle and you inspired me to go ahead and buy one of these models for myself and attempt to recreate your build. Can you possibly list what all kits and everything you used on this build if possible? I already ordered the main kit but need to find the tow bar

I will only say that he`s like a hummingbird- quickly jumping from project to project
(as i saw it a week or so,it`s still in the works)
needs more people to remind him to finish it

Hi

Well, what to say, I back to it. Started 6 years ago, and last wip picture was 4 years ago.
Here are few pic just to show project is still alive (and I'm also)
Quite a few bits from last time, maybe not so visible, but for me starting it after so long is u huge step.
Thanks. I hope you I'll be able to post pictures of the finished model in reasonable time at least

Hi Marko - really great work - thanks very much for posting! The work you did on the suspension is very impressive - it's tough to build out of the box, but, making vertical changes is really something - nice work!
Cheers

Marko, I'm happy to see that you are still working on this one. It really does look fantastic. The M-ATV and MaxxPro are my favorite MRAPs. Keep up the good work and keep the updates coming.

Nice to see you back and keeping this alive. I've said this before, but I'm saying it again...you are a master of weathering as every bit is top class. It looks so real and perfect to the scale.
