hi guys,was the v-150 used in nam?and are there any pics of them in
action?i have the hobbyboss kit and i would to
place it in the proper war,any pics and help would be great,thanks.

I could not find any info on production dates, however I am sure the v150 was developed too late for the Virtnam war.

What I found is that the V200 was annouced in 1971, (It used 5-ton truck components, the V100 used 2-1/2 ton truck components) and that the V150 was developed after the V200.

The V 100 was used in nam .USAF security used them and the m113.I drove both in DA Nang 1971- 1972

thanks guys for the replys,i have the one book v-100 cmmando 1960-71,it is a good
book,but now i wundr what was the v-150 all about ?was it a prototype?anyway its of my nam build list. thanks for the info guys.

No, it was designed to combine the features of both the V-100 and V-200 (hence V-150). It enjoyed considerable export success, especially in Latin America, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.

The Philippine Army's Light Armor Regiment (PALAR) has a number of them until now. I have finished building two of them, three if I will count the Verlinden resin version of many years ago.
