Hi all,

I'll be building a small dio of a 250/1 crossing the arnhem bridge, and would like to depict a piece of one of the curved trusses as the 'backdrop'. Does anyone have pointers to a fairly detailed picture of one of these so that I can get an approximate scale and some details.

I've seen many of the distance shots, but would really like to know about the rivetting, how they attach to the roadbed, that kind of stuff.

I just parachuted into Ginkle Heath last month and raced to the bridge. I'll screen my photos to see if any of them are close enough. However the bridge was re-built in the late 60's or early 70's so it is not the original bridge as was there in 44.

These shots are great, thanks. I'm guessing that the girders above the span are rivetted much the same ways as the girders under the roadway. The spot I want to model is right at the start of the arch at the southern end of the bridge.
