Here is my newest project I’m starting that will eventually be added into a diorama with a Gaz-AAA truck. For this build I’m using Tamiya’s Matilda Mk. III/Iv kit with Bronco workable tracks, Tamiya Russian Assault Infantry, and Mig’s Soviet Winter Tankers.

The whole Idea behind the build is a staged battle involving the Matilda and infantry while the Gaz with officials are filming the whole thing for propaganda. The Gaz truck will be built later once I’m finish with this tank. I already have on hand the rest of the items for the dio.

So far I have begun to work on the lower hull with a few changes to match the MK. III tank. I’ve reshaped the two lifting eyes to match the earlier rounded style. I’ve also glued on two pieces of strip plastic on the nose plate that normally would be there on the real deal. I know that Tiger models make a conversion kit I could use, but everything that come in their kit I can make myself. I was going to buy the Echelon decals, but the tank I plan to model I can easily print off of my computer. My biggest challenge is going to make the early track return skid instead of using the return rollers. But after looking over a few photos, I should have no problems making them. More to follow soon.

Cheers
