Nice work! Can you describe how you got the effects visible in your second set of photos (from May 10th)? The dark brown tones work well with the faded white to convey a dirty, heavily used vehicle. Hard to believe this is 1/48 scale.

Bill, first I applied dry pastel in earth colour. Next was mud - mix of acrylic paint, electrostatic grass and glue for terracotta.
