I want to make a diorama of this scene.

Can someone help me get a bigger picture of this scene and maybe more pictures.

Also is this a Mig 25 ??

Cheers,
Richard

its possible if you build it in 1/72 scale because both the m1a1 and mig 25 are both available in that scale but unfortunitly that is your only option

That's not quite accurate. The Mig-25 is in 1/32 scale, which could be paired with the M1A1 in 1/35 scale.
As for the image, I can't help you.

Here is a bigger picture. The tank is actually an M1A2 from the 3rd ACR.

I'd love to see the finished dio.I'm sure Matt is right that a 1/32 and 1/35 would pull it off.
My only concern would be the cost.1/32 aircraft don't come cheap to use as a wreck. But hey if you can afford the wasted parts go for it and keep us up to date.

If the aircraft is half buried in sand, why not buy a 1/72 Mig and upscale it by scratchbuilding it.

Most of the shapes look angular from the picture and if you make profiles of the fuselage and wings up and skin it with aluminum you could make dents and track tread marks in it very easily.

Ask folks for spares for the awkward parts that you can't scratch.

Just a thought

I love this this is one very cool picture ,,now to the problems ,,one and the biggest ,,as far as i know there is no 1/32 Mig 25 available on the market today ..Trumpeter don't make one but they do make a 32nd scale SU 27 ..huge model ..so your only choice is to do what Nige said and scratch build one .
That would make for one damn good build log .

Since there is no 1/32 Mig 25, you could do a similar dio. There are the Mig 21, Mig 23, and Mig 29 all in 1/32. Iraq had and buried all of these. So they would be feasible in a similar setting. The older Revell Mig 21 only goes for about $15 too.

1:48 could also be an option.

Could be, except the only M1A1's that I know of in that scale are junk. 1/72 is the only way to go on this project. Or scratch build a MIG-25 in 1/35.

And Matt's statement is wrong, there is no MiG-25 in 1/32!
