I have been trying to work out, how to go about building something like this in cork in 1/35th.

I understand the basic idea with cork, but I can't see how to get those random stone blocks in cork, as I usually use a blade and get straight cuts.
I usually use cork to make bricks and blocks, so this is a bit different to how I use cork.
Any ideas welcomed.
And I suppose I could scribe this in plaster sheets, but I really want to go down the cork route.

HiJon,
There is a member on the forum, Carles (blockhaus) who has posted a number of threads and WIPs on cork brickwork and the construction of buildings. If you search for "cork brickwork" in the Armorama search bar, you will find a number of such threads. This should help you get started.

Regards,
Garth

There is a somewhat repetitive pattern in the stones look.
Thin, thinner, wider and so on.

I would so 5-6 different styles of stones and vary the pose.
You can always add a more random look by sanding the individual stones a bit here and there. the overall view will be very nice and you will hardly recognize that in reality there are only 5-6 (depends on you) different stones.

A nice look does not come without work! :-)
