Thanks for the comments, folks.

Interesting model. In which country's naval or fluvial service will this what-if boat be serving?”
Hi “jphillips. I’m not entirely sure, still working on whom they actually will be. My build pace is slow, so the location of my ‘what-if’ world and the combatants changes quite frequently. I am also working on a bit of a land based diorama also, and want to try and keep a common thread, but mostly the vehicles are a combination of US & UK types, with figures based in modern US.
Here’s a link to the last post on my base.

i'll be watching with interest my thread on these boats SURC'S is around here somewhere...how did you shape the hull bottom2
Hi Jamie. Excellent thread, some great pictures there which will be a great help, the link to the videos is priceless. The hull was taken from the 1/36 scale Revell Offshore Powerboat (RV05205). Not entirely accurate, but as most of it will be below the water line, I’m content that it is a general hull shape.
235th-scale (Sean Mullarkey)
What, no granade launcher? I've one or two spare Mk19 in 1/35 if needed...2.
Hi Sean, to be honest I had not given it much thought, had not seen any pictures with 40mm launchers, until I saw some of the pictures on F3066’s post. Might be a nice combination, a little variation. Two M134’s up front with a M240 and MK19 ˝ way down with a twin 50 cal. at the rear. Will send you a PM.
Have ordered up some more of the sections for the side walls. Attempts to skin it have failed miserably, so I’m going to fill the voids so it is solid, and then apply some Mr Hobby filler and sand sown.
Chris,
