And during the building, I had this idea:

Yes, YES! My favorite Churchill variant! Sad, it's one that has escaped me building but it's always good to see someone else's work!

Thanks for sharing! You're off to a great start!

Hi Marcus,

Excellent stuff, and great progress. The Conger will add some nice interest, but stand back .

I'm way behine on my Churchill builds.

Nice work on the carrier. I assume the towing apparatus is scratch built.

Indeed...Full loaded...

But, Itīs a time to do a very quick insertion: I built the bogies from carrierīs suspension wrong. I had not noticed this detail.

Who saw was the Robert Lockie... Thanks, Robert hawk-eye...Again, surgery time: Bogie removed!

Reinforcing the suspension with a plastic rod:

And the bogies are wright, now !!!!

Sorry about this ...but,

Now, direction corrected, full ahead flank !!!!!

Hi Marcus,

The gutted carrier is looking good and a good option to go with the Churchill. It is worth changing the tracks and drive wheels though.

Good work, look forward to developments and a reminder I need to get on with some armour!

Cheers

Thanks, Alan...

About Universal carrier tracks, actually is very complicated the parts to arrive where I live ... take at least a month or two... and modeling is momentum ... But thanks for the tips ....

Finally, I finished the two English girls (and the trailer) yesterday...

Excellent work! I really like the weathering on the Churchills. What did you use for the canvas on the universal carrier?

Thanks a lot, Bill...

Uncle Churchill should be inspiring me ...

Today, I started two more girls Mk IV. One will build with the 6 pdr gun of 43 caliber (Mk III) and the other with the 50 caliber gun, the Mk V.
