This is a "friendly" reminder that this is primarily a site about modeling. It's not a current events - political discussion forum. Topics about Iraq, World Peace (or "whirled peas" as my wife likes to say), the value of the environment, etc are not topics we would like to see promoted on this site. Why? We have tried this approach (when we had a Current Events forum) and it didn't work. If we want to encourage an environment were people divide themselves along political beliefs than this kind of forum is great. Personally I don't think that really promotes the hobby though.
