Friends,

for the RMG Campaign I'll be needing wine bottles in 1/35th scale. I know that Accurate Armour has water bottles, but they dont have the right shape.

Do you know who has a set of wine bottles in their catalogue ?

Tamiya includes a clear (white) sprue in both the Cromwell Mk.IV and the Churchill Mk.VII (not the Crocodile) that both contain 4 large and 2 little bottle. Note, these are different sprues for each model.

Your best best would be to get some of the extra bottles from the Academy clear sprue.

I was in my local craft store and on my way to the models I stopped and looked at the wood working section. They had tons of precut little wooden shapes. There were bottles but they were too large, but there also was small barrels, vases etc, lots of things a guy might be able to use in a ruins dio. Even some precut pyramids that I plan on turning into dragon's teeth.

I have some from verlinden. They are resin, but with a bit of dark green and a gloss coat, they are great wine bottles. Different shapes and sizes as well.

There's now a cheaper way to obtain the Tamiya bottles. They have just released the figures that came with the Churchill VII separately, as a limited run. I've just received some from Hobbylink Japan and they are included.

Why not make them yourself? I've worked up a quick tip for this very thing. PM me and I'll send it to you. For the rest, once I get it formatted I'll submit it to the site.

Verlinden used to have a set of resin bottles that were nicely done. You can copy them in clear PU resin if you want them to be transparent...
