Looks great, very interesting subject. I'll bet the packing crate probably weighed more than the aircraft. Al

Hi CLiff,
Excellent work, a fine concept and an unusual load for the vehicle.
Only two obs are the seem on the underside of the plane and the wheel colour.
A figure checking the tightness of the rope would give a nice sense of scale.
A really interesting use of the old DUKW.
Cheers

Well done, Cliff. Another great soft-skin project we've come to expect from Mr. Roo. I like it.

Great stuff!
The tarp on top of the plane looks great.
Also, nice windshield grime.
but why a new thread?

Al while the wheels look green they are infact black washed. I must have missed the seam and probably thought it was meant to be as I know nought about wingy things But it will have to stay now. The wheels I may be able to black wash again.
Thanks for the comments guys.

Hi Cliff,
No worries, the seem won't been seen under normal circumstances and pics tend to less the actual colour of things..
Cool vehicle either way.
Cheers

If anyone out there has replaced the stock Italeri DUKW tires with the resin versions I would sure like to take the originals off your hands. I have a couple of photos of special Deuce and a Halves that were outfitted with the same tires.
