Hello the modeler
here is my new project dear to my heart the DF 21 (Dongfeng21) codename: CSS-5 and NATO code: DF21.
Trumpeter has released a ballistic missile at 1/35 of a very good before but here is some information that will help you.
The DF 21is a two-stage, solid-propellant, single-warhead medium-range ballistic missile (MRBM) system developed by China Changfeng Mechanics and Electronics Technology Academy. The latest DF-21D was said to be the world’s first and only anti-ship ballistic missile (ASBM) system. The DF-21 has also been developed into space launcher and anti-satellite/anti-missile weapon carrier.
The DF-21A has an increased range of 2,700km, and an estimated CEP of 100~300m. The missile is believed to be configured for strategic missions only. The missile is carried inside a canister mounted on a truck-towed trailer for road-mobile. It was estimated that so far around 60~80 DongFeng 21 missiles and 30~40 launcher systems may have been deployed by the PLA Second Artillery Corps in 7 missile brigade.

In the Box :
The box is made of 14 bunches wrapped in cellophane, representing 808 rooms, a well detailed and very explicit,

a box containing two types of tires, a board of decals and photoetched.

next time you attack the mounting

I know that these softskin truck kits from Trumpeter aren't perfect, but I've really been looking forward to one of these Chinese missile launchers built up. Looks good, just some minor seam issues so far

Indeed the whole assembly is correct only the launcher body is quite cumbersome to adjust! even with the putty that has not been easier.
Following the trailer with different angles

I have built the kit and as an interesting model, it would have been nice to have the missle or a aftermarket company, or even a picture. There are some fit issues, but its the only game in town. I have another if a missle comes along. good build

it is a kit to do and interesting in the series missile is the old kit "SCUD" DRAGON.
The first criticism that could be done to trumpeter is not having opened the lid of the container with the missile inside.
But it exists in Chinese toy
The second is that there are not many pictures more interesting than those we see on the net
Let's go to the cabin, this one is simple

To decorate the inside and give it some life, I realized safety belts

a small military freedom on the ground (as the leader sees nothing) is the post Fan Bing Bing famous actress, model, singer and producer.

and like any self-respecting military ..... nothing beats the beer cans and magazines ......... Chinese, of course

camouflage will consist of several layers of different paints playing with shades of 4 colors.
the colors are made from the photos so I'll make an operational vehicle and not a new vehicle from the factory.
basic green

Now we will wait for drying

cool project! It's a shame there's not more info available for it.

Question about your paint scheme..are you planning a heavy worn appearance ?

I'm also curious about your pianting and weathering...maybe a little worn out effect should be appropriate because I never saw heavily worn Chinese military vehicles in modern times...they always keep their weapons & vehicles well maintained.

I totally agree with you on that Chinese vehicles are maintained.
I'll dusty without exaggeration so that we have a truck maneuvering and not in a military parade.

Here is a small improvement of the rear lights of the tractor!
trumpeter making fires to certainnement detailed but in reality they are recessed. To fill the void I proceeded to fire on a sticky aluminum tape and then you just have to paint

here is the result

hello Domingo
at least you enjoy the colors
I preview during assembly as trumpeter had not committed intentionally or omissions?
missing fire extinguishers

They are made of plastic with "evergreen" and the fall of photoetched

There is no electrical wiring as well as that of the trailer brakes

Terms there is no information on the wiring of the missile
introduction of flexible (not definitive)

apart using a small amount of flexible, unwanted for the tractor brakes, I do not know what use the rest (I set aside) this lack of information on a plan becomes painful

the lack of pictures on the launcher (Chinese confidential defense) already old, I was directed on new launch vehicles and there are pictures on the net!
I relied on the DF31

I left in a logical view of the pneumatic electrical connections.
I set up an engine to power the actuators of the trailer as well as those of the launchers.
Cables not used will be fixed in the base of the launcher

establishment of two pressure gauges

it's all for now
