I wanted to use HESCO bastions for the backdrop of my Skinning the Cat diorama but was quite discouraged when I found the resin and PE versions and the price tag that went along with them. So I decided to experiment with making my own. A quick supply run to the basement yielded the necessary materials.
1.I cut styrofoam to size.
2. I soaked facial tissue in white glue thinned with water and wrapped the foam to simulate the canvas bag in the barriers.
3. I wrapped the pieces with window screen and hot glued it all together.
Once everything dries, I will paint the barriers and add gravel and dirt to the top.
