Resicast has released news of their new offerings and there is something in the mix which really catches my eye and gets the modelling juices flowing. Take a look inside for new figures, diorama additions, and vehicle upgrades.

it is hard to believe that resin manufacturers are releasing assessory, detail sets, wheels and figures to go with the Tamiya LRDG Chev kit which I believe to be hard to get at present.
Other then that some good stuff there especially the flimsys!

Hi Cliff,
What amazes me is that no one has ever done another 1/35 scale palstic kit. Must be the most popular British Softskin around.
Must be time for another Tamiya re-pop though. Handy looking set though and the tyres look and are excellent.
Cheers
Al
The flail looks terrific and a fine looking set of Winter tankers. Excellent.

Some very nice and tempting stuff there.
Sorry to be picky but the Rifle in the LRDG set looks like a mkIV to me and it should be a Mk III
Funny you should say that Al as I spotted a pic from the Shizuoka show on a Japanese modeller's facebook page. It was from the Tamiya Stand and it was the Tamiya LRDG towing the Breda AA gun. I don't think they'd have it on the stand unless they were going to relaunch it

Hi Pat,
Hope so, I'd like to do a 15cwt version.
Graham's been talking about LRDG stowage for a while and I think this will be the first of several sets. Gerard is working on a couple of LRDG troops too that are looking good so far.
More good stuff to follow I'd say.
Cheers

Hi folks,
A bit of additional infomration.
The LRDG cab detail set will be followed by a number of stowage sets. There will be 4 sets. Early and late versions of the radio and "general service" bodies. The difference will be in the loads and armament(late will have US equipment: Jerrycan, .50,…)
These sets will include the cab detail and wheels.
Pat, The rifles have been sorted.
Cheers

That's terrific news, Al! I remember you mentioning the possibility of LRDG stowage sets from Resicast a while back, and I'm excited to hear that possibility is coming to fruition. I'm looking forward to them!
