Haha... that was good, but you´re right!
I found the boxart-image from ICM´s "planned" kit in april 2001!

Also... the ukrainian company SKIF announced a lot of years ago a kit of the 2S6M Tunguska.
In october 2002 I saved an preview-image of their planned kit: "SKIF ZPRK Tunguska" with the kit-number "224".
Now the number was given to the T-55C1 kit.

Also another german hobby-shop has Panda´s 2S6M in pre-order-status with "end of september". (Modellbau Koenig) -> (oe = ö, if you see the name... or mine)

greetings...

Hi all!
Good news... I wrote a mail to "the Panda" and asked what kind of track the kit contains. The answer was: "separate link track"

separate link track

Wow, sounds very good!
Thanks for the information!

Also... I found some information about possible prices and receiving dates.
I used 3 german online-stores as a reference.
The "available" date is from october to november and the prices are from 56 euros (2 shops) down to 30 euros. (one shop)

That would be very interesting!!!

Be careful... nearly half the price as others and nearly the half as in US Dollars as I found on some international stores.
So, I think, the price can be changed!

From hlj.com (link below):

"NOTE: The tracks in this kit are provided as one-piece flexible belts, NOT indy links as some sprue shots seen around the Internet have shown. Panda has indicated that an indy-link track set will be sold separately at a later date. Figures not included."

The only problem with this release of the Tunguska is that its a later variant that hasn't gone into wide spread service yet.

I hope your Panda is right and the Panda I spoke with is wrong. They told me belts, not links. The kits should arrive this week, so we'll see!

Hello!
Thankfully, it was my Panda! I just talked to them today to re-re-confirm this controversy, and now Panda tells me that the tracks will indeed be indy links (hooray!), with another set of solid-toothed links coming later. Sorry for the confusion!

Good day all
What kind of tracks does this system use? are they something that could be found for metal tracks?
thanks

Jim, now that Panda is releasing a kit that uses them, the tracks may soon come out in metal. They are unique and currently unavailable other than in the Tankmania kits.

Hisham

You were faster than me, posting this good news!

I saved the instructions and parts-photos for my collection.
But the images of the instructions are very "bright", so I used the "auto-levels"-function to improve the lightness.

greetings...
