Hi,
Can anyone suggest where I can get hold of the correct size and shape etch to replace the kit supplied engine screen. I live in the UK.
Thanks
Toby

I recently bought some good PE mesh from www.hiroboy.com. Check out this link- there are a few different patterns:

They are a UK based website.

No probs Toby and I hope you like the article! (If you look for the T-90 Review thread here you can see the small dio I ended up placing the T-90 in.)
Enjoy your T-90 build- watch for the suspension arms though- they are not too strong when assembled! What paint scheme are you going to go for on it?

Hi Karl,
I'm looking at some way of lowering the suspension slightly so that the side skirts sit lower. In terms of colours I like the 3 tone feathered camo with green grey and black, or a winter camo. Is the article out today thursday??
Cheers

Toby- a while ago a thread was started regarding tweaks and changes to the T-90 kit and a guy called Nigel 'gloucesternige' made some excellent tweaks along the lines of what you wish to do. Check out the thread here (Nigel's modifications begin on page 2 and continue into page 3):
https://armorama.kitmaker.net/forums/189913&ord=&page=1
I hope you find the thread useful and if you go ahead with the modifications I (and I'm sure some of the other guys) would be interested to see what you get up to!
As for the SMMI article I believe it is out now, yes- the issue with 'Southern Sentinel-Australian Centurion' as the main feature on the cover.

Hi Karl,
I had a look through the thread yesterday. I want to make it as simple as possible and there was a lot of surgery involved! If the suspension can't. Be dropped easily I will stick with the kit as it is. I'm just finishing the new Academy Hetzer so I might crack it open after that, but I may have to fit in a LAVA2 before then. Will look for the mag at the weekend
Cheers

Suprised that Voyager or someone else hasn't come out with a PE set for this yet...problem solved.

I agree. All it needs is a set of lowered resin suspension units and it would sit better. Not perfect but it would give it a better look.

Well Zvezda did announce their own PE upgrade set with a barrel, replacement side skirts and engine grilles but I haven't seen a release date for it. I'm just as surprised as you Scott that one of the big PE companies hasn't released anything yet.
