Now that's CRAZY! Zimm for a paper knock-off of a paper panzer!

And how RETRO!

OK - the E-100 Jagdpanzer is a "paper panzer" to begin with -and IF it were ever to have been built, it would only have come about in 1946 or later - so a "panzer-46" as well, and not some aborted - but - planned-for panzer which never got going (such as for instance those one-off prototype vehicles such as the auflarungspanzer 38(t) mit 7.5cm L/24 or that 38(t) "alternative Marder design trial" CyberHobby kitted with the 7.5cm StuK 40). At least those were made - one or maybe 2 individualks - like as the MAUS.

So WHY a zimmerit package for this thing? ONLY to make money from capitalizing on the surrealistic fantasms of some, I guess. There would NEVER have been any such thing done in the "real world", I don't think - zimmerit had already run its course and was not applied after SEPT/OCT 44 - and so why would it have been resurrected for any 1946+ panzer?

Maybe ATAK can move on to make a zimm set for the MAUS, the E100, maybe the E-10 and E-25, and, hey, while at it, all those E-50 and E-75 paper panzers.

I'm only carping from the historical perspective, of course -and I'm in agreement with all who think zimm looks rather cool, but still. A bit over the top

I agree with Bob .
I might get that E-100 kit, but not the Zimm.

It seems a little odd to release zimmerit for a what if vehicle that if built would have been in service 2 years after zimmerit was withdrawn. I can see someone who wants a unique looking vehicle considering this product. The zimmerit sheets look promising and should be of use to those reluctant to try their own.

I'm glad I'm not alone in thinking this is a bit odd, cool, but odd.

There it is!

Hey wait! Jeremy ... who and where is that from? Is it 1/35th?

I know the British "supposedly" experimented with zimm.
