Here's a little vignette So, how I love vignettes and dioramas have a story behind them, a story behind this is as follows: after the first battle and the first kill soldier finds the ruins of the church where the cross stands intact ... and asks forgiveness, comfort etc..
Vignette is still in work, but this should be the main display. Title not yet determined, so if anyone has any suggestion shoot

Looks great so far.

A great piece...well focused, and, great substance. I cannot help but think that a broken tabernacle would make this scene horrific commensurate with the horror of war...

Thanks all for comment's and watching my work.. appreciated that.
@Rick : if I have correctly understood You are talking about broken cross ? If that, I was thinking about it but I am trying to show that in the horror of war and completely destroyed little chapel symbol of faith is still standing untouched...
Although I am not a believer, think someone who is would be filled with strength and comfort after seeing something like that after carnage of battle.
cheers

I like it. It tells a story. And I also think that "Forgive Me" is a great title as has been suggested.

Robert: Looks great!! Well done. The only add I would make is a rifle layed on the ground, perhaps against the semi-intact brick work to the soldier's left.

When I read you were looking for a title I was thinking of "God please give me the rest of my head." But I see he now has a full head, and I'm out of ideas. Fantastic little scene you've got there Robert.

wow , lot's of responses , thanks guy's for that. Few more thing to do ; I think putting few clumps of grass between rubble,, now it looks like chapel has been destroyed recently, some ivy or something like that on wall behind cross...
Rifle has been added after photos has been taken so that is done. New pictures soon...
thanks again for watching

Excellent my friend. Sometimes less is more as in this case. You have told a big story with a little scene.
