just a quick question what is the best way to strip tamiya acrylic from a hole kit ???

Windex, simple green, or any other product with ammonia will usually strip acrylics. Spray the kit down with it then seal it in a zip-loc baggie or a tupperware container and let sit overnight. Take it out and rinse it off, using a toothbrush to scrub off any stubborn paint. That is it; you should be good.

Tamiya acrylics come right off under windex. I just submerge the kit in a tupperware container. Let it soak for a few hours and all the paint will be gone- no scrubbing required. Tamiyas ease of stripping is one of its huge advantages

For the hard to get to areas I always spray straight alcohol through the airbrush @ about 25Psi. Gets the paint out of all the little nooks and crannies.

I use Super Clean, with the model in a Ziploc bag, as mentioned. Comes out clean as new, with maybe some miniscule residue in deep relief areas, nothing that would affect the new paint application.

Windex I is great! Fill a container deep enough to cover , let set and good buy paint! Keep the windex for next paint removall !
