The CAD/master images don't correspond with that of the box art. Are these 2 seperate/differnt sets?

Yes, they are. The correct boxx art can be viewed here, while the box art pictured here is for the new Dragon Maultier.

The header picture has been corrected. I didn't realise that the German forces were wearing camouflage this early in the war.

Nice to see the campaign in Greece highlighted. Yes, the SS had camo earlier, so it makes sense to have these infamous bastards instead of ordinary army units.

I can't find any reference to a Klisra Pass, but a Kleisoura Pass is quite important in the subjugation of Greece. Maybe a Greek member can clarify?

The guy on the far right looks like Kurt Meyer. Don't know if he was in that unit, but the figure looks just like a picture of him that I've seen a few times. More so on the box art though rather than the actual figure.

The poses look a bit different than usual too, so that's a nice change

Kurt "Panzer" Meyer was in fact part of the LSSSAH in Greece, and legend has it, he dropped a grenade in front of some troops who were dogging it to "motivate" them. The "Panzer" nickname was not from tanks (the LSSSAH was just a motorized regiment at the start of the war with no tanks), but because he was so tough, it was like he was steel-coated.

You are correct about the name of the pass. The box art has it wrong.
Panzermeyer or Schnellmeyer was the leader of the aufklarungs unit of LSSAH at the time of the invasion of Greece. At the end of that invasion,he actually led an "amphibious assault" using fishing boats to cut off Greek and Brit troops. Aparently the man never slept.
It does look to me like the figure in the kit is meant to be him.

It is indeed Kurt Meyer, the third rendition Dragon has done of him in plastic so they obviously think he is a popular subject. There is a famous picture of him in this pose and no doubt the artist used it as guidance.


He got the nickname Panzer from back in his training days apparently when falling from a building roof to which most would not have survived.

Alan: That's it! I think they did a pretty good job of replicating that (for a plastic figure at least).

It's pretty cool to see Dragon do something like that.
