I've been searching for days for a set of resin zimmerit for my Tiger I Mid. Does anyone know of any sets that will work with it?
Thanks

Well, first you should say which kit you are referring to... DML have multiple Mid Tigers in multiple scales.

You can make your own with Apoxie Sculpt and Color shapers available at Dick Blick or Jerry's Artarma.

James: I've been looking t ATAK but I'm not too sure if those sets would fit.
James F.: I've been practicing with it and it's not looking too good on my test pieces. Just cannot get a thin coat.

Hi Clarke,
Any of the ATAK zimmerit sets for the Dragon 'late' Tiger I will fit the Dragon 'Mid' kit also.
The only main difference is the opening on the rear hull for the 'engine heater' on the 'late' set:
The can easily be filled with a little putty :
With the 'Command' Tiger kit you'll probably have to fill a couple more placement holes on the rear hull zim piece, for the jack and the C-clamp. But these are very minor.
Grant.
(PS: The two ATAK Tamiya 'mid' sets also have this 'engine heater' opening, which is a mistake.)

vanhall, Thanks for much. Now I just have to find a online source to buy from. I think I've settled on set 35032 from ATAK.
