I'm getting into model building and I'm starting with modern US military armor and figures 1/35 scale . I'm going to be hand painting my figures and was hoping someone would have a suggestion of what would be a list of paints I would need to paint the faces, uniform, and equipment of the Modern military figures. I'm looking to paint them desert camo.
I"ve read several post that Vallejo paints are good. I just need to know a good list of colors to buy.
Thanks!

Hey Brad- welcome to Armorama!
Vallejo paints are a good choice to make, you can't really go wrong with them. As for colors- you should check out their website:
http://www.acrylicosvallejo.com/gb/model-color-gb.html
That link is for their standard Model Color range and the color chart can be accessed at the right side of the black bar at the top- it'll let you see the whole range and you can pick and choose what you want for your needs. They also do other ranges of paints including primers and sets for specific needs (like skin tones and WW2 uniforms and camouflage) etc.
Their 'Model Air' range is good for armor is, if you have one, is ready to use right away with an airbrush- its pre-thinned.
I hope this helps you out a bit.

Thanks Karl,
That did help, because I found the Vallejo sets from the website on Amazon.com and they break them down by color and code so I can order the colors I think I'll need.
thanks again!
