Hey guys ,, I need some help here .. I cant find any pics of the drive sprocket and the final drive of a Panther Ausf G .
What i am trying to see is what the final drive looks like without the drive sprocket on it and what the sprocket looks like without its axle cover on ,, pics of one removed would be brilliant,,anything like that would help in a huge way .

Dragos,,Great set of pics and one in the second link is brilliant .. still would like to be able to see the final drive without the drive sprocket in place .
But if i have to i can modify my plans a little bit but hopefully i'll be able to stick with what i have in mind .

They aren't the best pictures but it's enough to give you an idea. I'd also say that you might want to email the guys doing the rebuild. If you discribe your intentions to them, they might be able to help. I'm sure they documented every step of that restoration.

there is an excellent book from W.J. Spielbereger and H.Doyle
called "Panzer V Panther and Variants. I think you might find on Amazon,thats where i got mine. It´s packed with all the fotos you´ll ever need here´s a couple to show whats in there
