Interetimg and informative review but I agree that the Kubelwagen is reallly the gem here. Hope to see a blog that finishes these and more about future versions of the KW.

This is a very enjoyable review and while braille scale is beyond I can appriciate the work that has gone into the making of these two kits. Nicely done

@Tom - My thanks to you and any others involved in getting this review up.
@AJB - To be honest, I'm am still totally taken by the little Kübelwagen. It really shows what Dragon can do in this scale. Rest assured that at some point there should be a post detailing the finishing of these models. Also, don't dismiss the Tiger I as this version was much improved over earlier ones. I just wish that Dragon was more consistent in their standards.
@Darren - Thank for taking the time to have a look at this, despite it not really being your scale of interest. It wouldn't surprise me to see a few Kübelwagens end up appearing in your scale of preference the same way the little armoued Jeeps found their way into a 1/35 version.
Cheers,
Jan

There are some strange accuracy problems with the Tiger. The grenade launcher is provided behind the loader's hatch; Mid Tigers didn't have one. The crowbar is at the front of the hull roof; it was really at the side. And why are there no spare tracks on the turret?

Thanks for having a look David. As to your first two questions, you'd have to ask the Dragon researchers who obviously aren't Tiger experts. All I really know about Tigers is the difference between a Tiger I and a Tiger II. I've seen you post many helpful comments to many who have built Tigers so I appreciate you taking the time to post your observations in this thread. As for the lack of spare tracks on the turret, a typical Dragon omission. They seem to be doing this lately as on the recent Panzer IIIN the box picture shows spare tracks and also fuel cans and sandbags. In fact, there is even a rack for spare track on the bow of the tank but none included in the kit!

Jan
