I can't decide between a Badger 360 (which can be either a bottom- or gravity-feed airbrush, and which has cheaper and easier-to-find spare parts) or an Iwata Eclipse-CS (which, though being slightly more expensive than the Badger, seems to be more respected, and is simpler). Any quirks that either of these airbrushes have? Which would you have a first-time airbrusher use? Thanks for any help!

Get the Iwata. I have one myself :-) I've heard Badgers are not very good for detailing. My Eclipse works great for shading, fine line painting, and general spraying; not to mention they're extremely easy to clean :-)

Hi there

I've used a Badger Crescendo 175T for years and it's never let me down. It's well made and has taken a lot of abuse...

That said, I've just switched to an Iwata Eclipse BS, and I have to say it seems to be in a different league! I'm really pleased with it.

All the best

I also have an Iwata Eclipse!! I'm sure the Badger is dandy. My decision was influenced by speaking to some airbrush professional's I knew at an advertising agency sometime ago.
