Minor has some interesting sets, but I just don't feel like PE is the best material for chains...

Given a choice between really well-done resin and PE for chains, I would take the former, since PE won't "lie" properly on hard surfaces like styrene or even resin the way real chains will.
But I have not been overly-impressed with some of the resin chained tires I've seen (flash, poor detailing, pour plugs that intrude into the area that shows. etc.). I'd definitely be interested in these sets and for ones for other vehicles coming out. Bravo!

I'm no tire chain expert, but wouldn't some real chain, like the kind used for scale ship modeling be adaptable for this purpose in some cases? They come in pretty small sizes.

Boat Modeling chain, the fine stuff, would work, but I am thinking it to be alot of work to get it to all line up equally and then get it to fit to the tire. I tend to look for the easy way sometime, but that is me, thus I like these PE chain, for me it would get the right look.

I've made several chain sets as masters for a couple of resin companies and it's tedious but reasonable work if the sets are the relatively simple "ladder" design common on many Allied vehicles. Making these multipoint start type designs would be excruciatingly difficult (if possible at all) in real chain.
