Hi guys,
I still have one Italeri M-923/925 in stock that I want to convert.
Anyone has any suggestion into what ???
I already have:
M923 standard M925 guntruck, M925 with fueldrums, M927 XLWB-Workshop, M930 dumptruck, M932 tractor, M934 van and m936 wrecker !!
I did see that the USMC has a socalled Telephone Maintenance Truck ( with telescopic boom ) but where to find such a conversion ?
As I said, anyone any ideas ???

I'd go for the gun-truck version. A few extra weapons and the walls should be reasonably easy to scratch build. Found this one thru Google:

BTW does anyone perhaps has some pictures of the Air Traffic Control AN/TSW 7A or drawings ? Perhaps even some drawings or dimensions of the M944 Batmobile ?
Thanks !!!!!

Do you have any pics that you could share of you M934? I'm going to start on one soon and would love to see your build. It would seem that no one has put pics online of there build as fat as I can find.

Hi Mark,
To be honest, this conversion is still in the box, it's a conversion from Real Model.
The only ones that are finished up to now are the M-925 Cargo, M-925 Guntruck and M929 Dumper.
The rest is still in boxes waiting for them to be assembled.
( with the rest of about 70 models !!!!!!!!!!! )
LOL !!!

I guess this one is a more recent version (not sure if it has the same designation )

It's an outside the box idea, but a fire department in the county south of mine has a home-built brush truck built onthat chassis: add a square water tank in the bed, scratchbuilt a small fire pump, paint it red, add some emergency lights, and voila!

I've just realized that these two pics just show the AN/TSW-7A in transport mode which give it a "boxyer" look.

Hi guys,
I bought a diecast model of an telephone maintenance truck in UK, scale 1/34.
The upper part will be used to convert a m-925 into a M-876a2 from the USMC.
Anyone has an idea how to strip the diecast model from his paint so I can put some basecoat on it and then paint is in Nato colors ?
Gé
PS I have NO sandblaster !!!!

Hi Gé !
If it is diecast, you can simple use a strong thinner. You can submerge it on thinner.
It is not smell good, but is fast !
Cheers !

I wait with baited breath for a 5K generator and trailer. I think I'd buy a couple and set one of them on fire, just to add to the realism...
