Anybody here have any experience with these clears. I love Model Master and want to stop using the spray can clears and primers.
The primer I am using is an enamel based primer from a spray can, and every time I use it my clothes and skin smell like petroleum after.

I've used Testors flat clear acrylic and I like it. It doesn't make a dead flat finish, but still reduces glare significantly, and gives a good surface for applying pigments or pastels. The gloss is very glossy, but I use Future floor wax instead as it is more economical and very easy both to use and to clean up. Don't know about the semi gloss.

I use Testor Flat Clear through an airbrush with very thin coats at about 18psi, and it comes out dead flat. As for primer, I still like the Tamiya Spray, nasty smelling stuff, but it works. I am starting to use occasionally the Vallejo primers, and they are not bad.
