Hello !

My new job, a Chinese APC made by Hobby Boss.
The kit is composed of 226 pieces in 5 sprues(plus lower and upper hull), 1 PE fret, 6 rubber tire.
Pieces fits generally well, you must be careful when you're gluing the upper hull, lower hull and rear panel together.

Hi Romain- thats a very nice job you've done there. I like the extra detailing you've given it and I'm looking forward to seeing it all painted up- good luck with the paint job!

Hi !

Thank for your replies !

Basecoat is applied !
To do it, I scan Hobby boss painting guide, fit it to 1:35 scale, and redraw camouflage stains with photoshop.
When profiles are print on tracing paper, I cut stains on large masking tape to applied it in desired place on the model !

For exemple :

Thats a great way to do the camouflage scheme I must say, very inventive and it looks great too. Are you planning to weather the vehicle?

I'll have to give your camo technique a try. It looks great! Were the kit wheels one piece or multiples?

Very, very nice. Another 6 wheeler like the Heller VAB.

Does this kit have vinyl tires?

Never mind as I found my answer on the tires. Not a real popular kit as it looks like some have it discontinued.

Thank for replies !

@Karl: yes, it's planned ! You will see!

@ Matt & Jeff: wheels are composed of three parts: two half rim and a vinyl tire.

Very nice build!
Havent seen this vehicle to much on forums yet, I wonder why.
Planning on creating a base?
Can you share some more info on how you did the masking? With printing etc?

@ Boris : I don't plan to create base
And to create masking I scanned Hobby boss painting guide, fit views to 1:35 scale, and redraw camouflage stains with photoshop.
Then I printed it on tracing paper, I superimposed tracing paper on large masking tape and cut stains on large masking tape to applied it in desired place on the model

Interesting weathering Romain- its good to see one of these in model form with some decent wear and tear on it- there's not many pictures out there of the real thing looking well used, so its great to see some artistic licence! (Unless you are using a picture as a reference?)

By the way, what do the three extra markings on the left side represent?

@ Karl : You'r right, there's not many pics of this vehicle ... :/
But i found some on the net ! And i use pics of other PLA wheeled vehicle as reference.

I have no idea of the meaning of the three extra marking, I saw them in a pic, and they bring some colors !
