Hi all,
I’ve just finished a diorama I’ve been building for quite a long time (piece by piece with several other projects done in the same time). It is “what if” type WWII diorama.
The story is that Hitler's armies found magical artifact of great but grim power. Hitler wanted to use it during the war but something went wrong and dark forces broke loose.
Special troops known as Hexenjäger were created to fight against supernatural enemy. Here you can see three soldiers with their halftrack equipped with holy water sprayers, peg throwers and infrared night vision system attacking a vampire standing next to profaned graveyard chapel.
I do hope you like this one. It sure was fun to build.

Interesting concept. Having studied the occult, the pentagram is upside down. As is, it looks more like Allied graffiti. The rest of the dio is excellent!

I couldn't figure out what was happening here when I first gazed into the screen, the I figured it out. Most clever. And nice Tamyia figures (they are an old product) and I really like the wooden ammo in the weapon on the half track - nice touch.

Andrezj! Andrezj!
What should i say? Aren't you a bit crazy perhaps? LOL
Nice piece of fantasy (and use of old Tamiya stuff). I like the old tree, it adds a lot to the mood.
Nice also that you gave yourself 104 years of lifetime back then. With modern medicine you may add a few in todays life.

Yeah… the neighborhood was just too boring and stiff so I decided to leave…

:D one is mine, second is my brother’s (he’s going to kill me as soon as he finds out that he „died by snu-snu” ) Third is my cousin’s, he asked for “People are cool” epitaph himself .

Thanks Gary! I’ve made the vampire figure some time ago as a standalone, than I made the halftrack (for What-if campaign here on Armorama). Having a vampire and vehicle I decided to put them on one diorama and… here we are…

Thanks! BTW, Sigil of Baphomet is pentagram pointing downwards.

Figures and halftrack were one of my first sets ever… They were poorly painted and partially damaged by three removals but I liked them too much to let them stay in their poor condition… I’m really happy you like the pegthrower .

Thanks! I’ve figured that silver bullets are too expensive so the crossbow seemed to be natural solution. I used MG42 to make it.

Claude – I’m really happy you liked this one. Am I a bit crazy? Sure! And proud of it .
Sole purpose of the tree was too add the mood to the dio. I must say you are the godfather of this tree since I observed the way you’ve made the big tree on your Clervaux diorama. Roots make awesome material to use while modeling the trees!
104 years old and still alive enough to escape own grave!
Once again! Thank you all for your comments!

This had to be fun to build Andrzej! Like many others, this made my day I got a hint of the Wolfenstein vibe from it as well, and I love the wooden stakes in the autoloader on the halftrack as well as the crossbow.

Stake gun? I remember reading about that. It was an off shoot of the infamous KartofelWerfer Mk IV. They had to make the breech bigger because of the longer stake length.

Why not? I give 10/10 for thinking outside the box. I can see a lot of people being inspired by ideas like this and taking it further.
