DML hasn't released a late Stug lll G (with remote control MG since the Imperial series days, but they have just recently released a Stug lV with this feature. I think the fighting compartments were the same size on both vehicles, so would the roof plates also be interchangeable to replace the roof plate on the mid production Stug lll? Along with other updates such as Saukopfblende, steel return rollers, etc. Of course if I do this conversion DML will promptly release this very vehicle!

Yes, theyre interchangeable...... but the DML one wont work for the tamiya kit. The late stug III also had a different rear and welds were different so its not just as simple as replacing the roof. But it could work for a rebuild maybe?

Actually I would never use a Tamiya kit for this project. There's probably going to be fit issues anyway. I didn't mention it but I meant the DML StuG lll mid production which is a superior kit.
