Hell everybody!

After looking at some pics of disabled tanks that was dug in and used as fixed positions during the North African campaign I got the inspiration for building a small vignette on the theme. Since I already had a painted Italeri Crusader III turret in my in my collection I decided to use that as the centerpiece. I also added a Italian paratrooper from the Folgore division and some equipment to the vignette.

You did a good job! Working of a real war pic...I love that kind of subjects.

My only thing is that I mis a fundation for the turrent...on the ref pics you can see a structure where the torrent rest on...

Maybe I'll build another turret in the desert in the near future - small vignettes are prytty fun to build and they doesn't take that much time to build either.

Nico: You're totally right. It would have been better if I atleast indicated what kind of stucture the turret rested on. That's a lessen for the next time!
